Our Books of Remembrance provide a simple and lasting memorial that you can see displayed in glass cabinets in the Book of Remembrance building.
The hand-made books are bound in black Morocco leather with pages of goatskin parchment. The inscriptional work is done by lettering craftsmen. Each volume has a page for each day of the year, and the pages are turned daily.

Adding an entry to a book
You can decide which date the entry is to appear, whether it’s your loved ones birthday, anniversary or their date of death, whatever date is special for you. To ensure that the entry appears for the first anniversary, please order it six month before the date.
You can have two lines of text, or a longer entry, with optional floral and non-floral emblems or coats of arms.
Personal Copies
The Authority is aware of the desire of many persons to have a copy of the inscription as it appears in the Book. It has, therefore, been arranged for Universal copies to be available either in a miniature reproduction of a Book of Remembrance or on a Folded Remembrance Card.

We can also offer a personal copy of the inscription as it appears in the Book. This can either be as a miniature reproduction of a Book of Remembrance or on a folded Remembrance Card.
Miniature Book of Remembrance
The Miniature Book of Remembrance is approximately 8″ by 6″ and has a full binding in simulated vellum, with a cover design in gold block:
- blue binding with floral design
- blue binding with cross and glory
- buff binding with cross and glory
The Book contains a title page, suitable quotation page, together with other pages of first-quality paper. On the centre page, under the hand-inscribed anniversary date, is a hand-penned copy of the original inscription as it appears in the Book of Remembrance.
The Miniature Book is supplied with a glassine wrapper and protective box.
Folded Remembrance Card
The Folded Remembrance Card, approximate size 6½” by 4¾” with simulated gold design:
- blue with floral design
- buff with floral design
- blue with cross and glory
- buff with cross and glory
It is supplied with a protective PVC coach-hide wallet.
On the inside, underneath the anniversary date, carefully inscribed by hand, is a copy of the original inscription as it appears in the Book of Remembrance.
